At South Thompson RV, we pride ourselves in participating in and sponsoring as many community events and groups as we can. We live here, we love it here and we want our home town to flourish. That’s why we stay involved in all sorts of local organizations throughout the city -- to help Kamloops continue to be the amazing place it is! See how we’re doing our part to make a difference below:
4-H Kamloops Clubs
Helping the leaders of tomorrow turn into fair, capable and kind people, 4H helps the kids of Kamloops learn to do by doing. They create an inclusive environment where our youth can develop personal interests and get out into the world around them -- and we think that’s pretty amazing. That’s why we regularly donate funds to help these amazing clubs keep going because we believe helping our community starts with helping the citizens of tomorrow.
Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association
A huge part of the RV experience is getting out into the wild and living off the land around you. South Thompson RV believes in sustainable fishing and hunting practices, which is why we are proud to sponsor the Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association. It is because of organizations like this that places like Edith, Monte and Knouff Lake are the angler havens they are!
Kamloops Street Rod Association
Getting out into nature in an RV with your family -- that’s classic. You know what else is classic? Taking a walk around the grounds of Valleyview Community Centre and seeing all the best rides of yesteryear. Nothing makes us feel more nostalgic than checking out classic cars from decades past, which is why South Thompson RV is proud to sponsor the Kamloops Street Rod Association.
Local Hockey Teams
What’s more Canadian than RVing? Well, there’s hockey, for starters! South Thompson RV is committed to helping young players learn all about teamwork, sportsmanship and the joys of being on the ice. That’s why we regularly sponsor local hockey teams to help as many youths as possible discover that great things come to those that work hard.
